Job Specification
Job title:  iPhone Application Developer
Reporting to:   E-Business  Manager
Location:  145-149 Donegall Pass, Belfast, BT7 1DT Belfast/Mallusk
Hours of work:   39.5 hours per week excluding meal breaks, Monday to Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am – 5pm
Holidays:  28 days per annum including statutory holidays

Overall purpose of the job 

This position requires the successful candidate to be an active member of the E-Business team building iPhone applications with web interactivity and to provide professional support working closely with the customer and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Development of iPhone applications.
  • Coding in AppleScript, Objective-C, C and MySQL. 
  • Ensuring security of systems.

Criteria Essential


Qualification/Attainments

  • Comprehensive understanding of aforementioned languages and portfolio of work completed.

Relevant Experience 

  • Effectively demonstrate recent development of iPhone applications.

Skills  

  • Working knowledge in the use of PHP AppleScript, Objective-C, C and MySQL.

Circumstances

  • Must be able to work outside of normal working hours to maximise efforts to reach deadlines where appropriate.

Criteria Desirable

Skills

  • Knowledge in web languages such as PHP, CSS, XML, XHTML and Javascript.
  • A working knowledge of Photoshop.
