Salary: £26,500 – £29,000

OTE: £30,000 – £35,000

 

 

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Barclay Communications, your role is to create and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential clients, responsible for generating interest in our services and booking meetings for our account management and business development teams.

This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career or looking to grow within a fast-paced B2B environment. If you’re highly motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively reach out to potential business customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.

· Identify and qualify sales opportunities across telecoms, broadband, and IT services.

· Understand customer pain points and match them to our service offerings.

· Book qualified meetings and hand off leads to the business development team.

· Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or similar).

· Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives.

· Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and competitor activity.

· Meet or exceed daily and monthly outreach and lead generation targets.

Essential Criteria

· Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated with a desire to meet and exceed targets.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools.

· Positive, resilient, and coachable attitude.

Desirable Criteria

· 1+ years’ experience in a sales or telesales role (B2B or B2C).

· Experience in the telecoms or IT sector.

· Familiarity with selling mobile, broadband, or VoIP services.

· Experience using Salesforce or similar platforms.
