After a few years without the prestigious awards ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Mobile News Awards are back and bigger than ever.
With a record number of 112 entries for The Mobile News Awards this year, Barclay Communications are delighted to be one of the few businesses selected as finalists in two award categories including B2B Reseller of the Year. Managing Director of the Group, Britt Megahey, has also received a finalist spot as Motivator of the Year.
Mr Megahey highlights, “It is great to have the awards ceremony back in action. It has definitely been missed in the past few years. To be shortlisted as finalists in one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the mobile industry is exceptional and we are delighted. There is some very worthy competition and I would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck for the night.”
The awards ceremony seeks to recognise exceptional businesses and leaders within the mobile industry, showcasing outstanding results and dedication to the sector. They will take place on 19th May at a black-tie gala dinner in the Intercontinental London Park Lane.
Finalists were scored by 15 judges from the telecoms industry. One of the judges and board advisor, Andy Tow, said, “It was a great day judging some truly inspiring entries. It was encouraging to see how everyone strives for excellence and has a real passion for what they do. Good luck to everyone who entered and we look forward to hearing the winners announced in May.”
Mobile News editorial director Ian White added:
“The quality of entries was amazing. It is quite humbling to see how much time and effort people put into their entries and how much they want to win. If you’re a winner on the night you can be proud that you went up against some astounding submissions”
